TaskLyn Services ("TaskLyn", "we", "our", or "us") operates the TaskLyn platform — a task-assistance service connecting Customers with Task Partners and Business Partners in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and (for Task Partners and Business Partners) identity verification documents.

Task information: When you create or fulfil a task, we collect pickup and drop addresses, task descriptions, item details, purchase amounts, and any special instructions you provide.

Payment information: We collect transaction details such as payment method type, transaction reference, and amounts. Full card or banking credentials are handled exclusively by our third-party payment gateway and are never stored on our servers.

Location information: With your permission, we collect real-time location data from Task Partners during active tasks to enable task tracking and assignment.

Device and usage information: We automatically collect device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and interaction data to improve platform performance and security.

Communications: We retain records of messages, support interactions, dispute submissions, and feedback you submit through the platform.

To provide and operate the platform: We use your information to create and manage your account, match tasks with available Task Partners, process payments, and deliver notifications about your tasks.

To verify identity and prevent fraud: We use identity documents and transaction data to verify Task Partners and Business Partners, and to detect and prevent fraudulent activity.

To process payments and settlements: We use financial information to process Customer payments, calculate Task Partner earnings, and manage settlement payouts.

To improve our services: We analyse usage patterns and feedback to improve platform features, task matching, and overall user experience.

To communicate with you: We send transactional notifications (task updates, OTPs, payment confirmations) and, where you have opted in, promotional communications about TaskLyn services.

To comply with legal obligations: We may use or disclose your information where required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority.

Contract performance: Processing is necessary to provide the services you have requested — including task fulfilment, payment processing, and account management.

Legitimate interests: We process certain data (such as usage analytics and fraud detection) based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe and effective platform, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Legal obligation: We process data where required to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
